What is the catch with Acorns? Is it really profitable for investors?

I’ve been using Acorns for a few years now. I put in a little each month, but not hundreds. I do use the round up feature, however, and that, plus the dividends have created an extra $10,000 plus for me. In June, I will make about $57 in dividends. Not a ton, granted, but that was only one quarter.

In my opinion, Acorns is a set it and forget it investment. I am in 4 ETFs:

  1. VOO - Vanguard’s S&P 500 ETF
  2. IJH - ishares Core S&P mid-cap ETF
  3. IJR - iShares smallk core S&P ETF
  4. IXUS - iShares core MSCI total international stock ETF

Those 4 show positive gains so far in 2022, which is a much better achievement than many funds, ETFs and individual stocks.

Yes, i think Acorns is well worth the time and investment.
